The trip to Arizona was interesting to say the least. It was nothing how I expected it to be. Monday morning we did a 5 mile hike and were able to see all of Phoenix and the surrounding area. Its awesome, trying but fun. Sadly I was the last one up and Jeni had to wait for me because I have a hard time breathing when I hike. I just don't get it; it wasn't that strenuous, but that's a different story. The view was awesome and we got some great group pictures. Friday we made and handed out burritos to the homeless and passed out water at First Friday Art Walk in downtown Phoenix. Overall this trip had its ups and downs but was pretty awesome. I built better friendships, that so far seem to have lasted. At least we have a bond that other people won't get. And its made me realize I need to question what I'm passionate about. Not like I have bad passions but more like I'm unsure what I'm passionate about. Everyone there was so passionate about the work they're doing, which makes them love their jobs, and I think that would help me figure out where I'm supposed to go in my life.
Here are a few more pictures of the trip:
The house we painted and Becky putting her hand print on my back.
Josh and Jeni dancing and trying to hand out water.
Tim, Becky, and I in the back seat on the way back to PCC
